History 

With over 50 years in the towing industry, Steve and Sharon Weil started the company in 1977 with five wreckers and a handful of employees. Weil Wrecker has grown into a multi-million-dollar company with over 90 tow trucks and 120 employees, specializing in hazmat, recovery, and underwater recovery. We provide legal services and storage, lock-up bays for criminal and civil investigation, as well as, equipment sales and towing and recovery training.

 

In 2007, Weil Wrecker began auctioning the abandoned vehicles they had been accumulating. What started out as an auctioneer and title clerk riding on the back of a rollback tow truck has progressed into to an online and in-person auction with over 150 vehicles sold on the first and third Wednesday each month.
